There will be a substantial chunk of internet history missing as services will go offline and there’s no proper way of archiving their contents.

I once tried to see a blog post from a friend and former co-worker's wedding from 2017 and it's 404'd.
I do have an archival link and the full album but still counts as a kind of lost section of the internet.
