Morning Mastodonians!
That was a very fun evening at Over the Charles, a rooftop bar in Cambridge overlooking the Charles River. Great views of the Boston skyline. They have like 4 igloos set up and, unlike our previous winter #igloo experience, this one was warm enough. They also loaned us a bluetooth speaker, so we jammed some favorite family tunes. A great #birthday dinner. I'll borrow some photos from @adrienne from the party! Thanks fam!
It was also a good afternoon, as we spent it curled up on the couch watching an excellent #NHLBruins game on the big screen. Add in some dogs and some cats and it was a real family affair. The Bruins did their part by putting in a real yeoman's effort to put down the #NHLRangers, 4-2. It was a great way to spend a cold gray sleety winter's day. We didn't get much snow from this event. The news said 2-4 inches, but all we had was like an inch of slushy mess on the ground. #today
Both @adrienne and I really enjoyed Triangle of Sadness. It has been a very long time since I laughed so hard at a movie. The scenes on the luxury yacht we absolute killer. The lead up was a bit slow and the ending a bit strange, but it was great. Not sure it replaces Avatar: Way of Water as my #Oscar favorite, but it comes close. How do you rank such completely different experiences? #movies #films #oscars
Oh man, the ugliness of the #saltmine on Monday appears in front of me and I am not ready to face it at all. I have a pretty straight forward ticket to work on, just trying to optimize some start up times, so maybe it won't be too awful. I just have to get by the morning meetings of doom.
