Hey, this zine that I worked on in out. NODE Vol 01, free digital release and physical preorder, n-o-d-e.net/nodevol01.html

This first volume is 150 pages long, and, it's packed with features on P2P projects, such as Dat, Beaker, Ricochet IM, Aether. There are tutorials showing projects like the new NODE Mini Server, 3D print long range wifi antennas, how to chat via packet radio, and how to Libreboot the Thinkpad X200. There's also a handy open source directory at the back, and more!

@Famicoman

Thanks, sounds good (for EU residents). But no other payment method than credit card? That means I can't order one, although I'd really really like to 😞

@greenblue You could email the main NODE guy at mail@n-o-d-e.net to see if he has plans to accept other forms of payment.

Otherwise, all I could suggest is looking into prepaid cards unless there is a reason to be opposed to them that I am unaware of.

@Famicoman

Thanks, writing an e-mail right now, and investigating pre-paid cards. Not sure if they exist here.

Credit cards are common, but not ubiquitous in Germany. It is still possible to live without them here :) Most people have normal "bank cards" for electronic payments and bank transactions, but they are independent from the global MasterCard/Visa system.

Let's see what we can do...
