Table Mountain Benbulben, powdered white with snow and lying in the shade, rises into the picture from the right with its outer peak. In the foreground you can see some brown meadow, and behind it on the horizon further snow-covered mountains of the Dartry range, also table mountains. Above it all is a huge blue winter sky without a single cloud.

Der Tafelberg Benbulben ragt weiß vom Schnee gepudert und im Schatten liegend mit seiner äußeren Spitze von rechts ins Bild. Ganz vorne ist etwas braune Wiese zu sehen, und dahinter am Horizont weitere verschneite Berge des Dartry- Mountains - Gebirgszuges, ebenfalls Tafelberge. Über allem wölbt sich ein riesiger blauer Winterhimmel ohne eine einzige Wolke.
