Beautiful spring day, so I took the most ambitious ride yet this young year and climbed the long grade up to Langenhain and back down the sweepers through Breckenheim and back home. Supper and a long nap followed immediately.

Second bike ride. Weather even better than Sunday. Pulled the average age of cyclists riding their rides down dramatically. Was struggling the most however.

Bisschen früh für die Kollegen, aber 2 von den Viechern verirrten sich grad zu mir in den Dachboden.
Zum Glück war das längliche Saunahandtuch auf dem Rad griffbereit, so dass ich die Mücken von Dachschräge zu Dachschräge peitschen konnte. Fühlte mich grad ein wenig wie Elastigirl von The Incredibles :o)

Did some research and I think what I'm missing is a spacer. I have an fh-rs400 hub and a cs-hg50-8 cassette. According to the shimano specs, they should be compatible. Yet, according to this forum: https://bicycles.stackexchange.com/questions/67573/using-an-8-speed-cassette-on-an-10-11-speed-tiagra-fh-rs400, I'm missing a 1.85mm spacer.
When I got my rearwheel back from my local bike shop last year, I did notice a little wobble, but I didn't think much of it until recently, when I took off the rear wheel for a spring clean.

Tubeless-Wartung im Frühjahr, es war wieder soweit. Die Dichtmilch im Gravelbike war noch gut, schön dickflüssig und milchig. Bei der vom Roadbike war das MHD abgelaufen, ziemlich wässrig, gelblich und trüb. Die musste dringend ausgetauscht werden :o)

Diesmal bauen wir ihr einen Carbon-Renner mit europäischen Wurzeln! Denn der FESTKA Scalatore Rahmen wird für uns direkt in der Innenstadt von Prag gefertigt. Er zeigt die klassische „Farfalle“-Carbonoptik, für die Festka berühmt ist und kommt mit weißen Decals daher. Passend dazu verwenden wir DARIMO Lenker-Vorbau-Einheit und die passende Sattelstütze.
