I don't know what documentary I'm currently watching on NASA TV, but it's the most "Boards Of Canada" thing I've ever seen.
Seems to be an early 1970s documentary about the engineering of Apollo 11, but then its aerial views of mountains & rivers, interspersed with close-ups of eagles, sunlight beaming through leaves of trees, Buzz Aldrin buttering a slice of bread floating in space. The reencoding from MPEG2 into 512kbps MP4 is making it a faint lofi transmission.
Looks like the documentary is Moonwalk One, the 1970 NASA-funded film. Something about the way it was edited is just odd, surreal, alien.

(And the end credits mention the National Film Boards Of Canada. I guess that explains why it felt so Boards Of Canada.)
