Pam’s pixie haircut hadn’t turned her into a pixie. All it had done was make her ears look big and now she’d have to wear a scarf for the rest of her life. Or until her hair grew back.
Her sister had scarves galore, so Pam pinched a lovely purple one with orange swirls and wrapped it around her head. Then she settled down to find another way to join the weird kids’ table at the school cafeteria.
