They think they're suckers.
Losers who work with scant resources, minimal pay, and put their own lives on the line to help others, rather than exploit them the 'conservative way' to make a quick buck.
Trump is a flabby, greasy, stinking lump of cheeseburger fat that probably can't get off the can without help from a servant. He doesn't think they are suckers, he knows they are better than him. He knows everyone is better than him. That's why he wants to burn the world down.

I suspect Trump genuinely hates most everyone. He is absolutely scraping the barrel in every aspect of his life and he knows that everyone knows. I'm sure McCain made him feel particularly stupid, because that's what he is.
