My mamaw’s husband was a bounder. He would cheat on her AND give her possessions away to the women he cheated with. One day my mamaw saw one of these women downtown wearing her sweater, and she ripped it off of her and took it back. This is the kind of woman I come from. When I feel like I can’t get out of bed, I remind myself of this.
