There's something wrong with our country:

"Kentucky police fatally shoot man after allegedly serving warrant at wrong home"

Are the cops so focused on shooting people that they now don't even need a reason?

@fmhilton It is insane how often they "shoot the wrong person" when they shouldn't be shooting anyone.

And people wonder why my former cop wife chose to work complex (felony) cases for the defense, instead of for the prosecution. The very first case she worked, she quickly proved that the accused could not possibly have committed the crime, and was 40 miles away at work when it happened. Ya think it maybe ruined his life to be arrested and booked for something he didn't do that could have been debunked in five minutes?!? That poor guy was in local lockup, where there have been way too many inmates dying mysteriously/getting murdered. It's super dangerous at the Atlanta jail, and traumatizing, all because a person cannot come up with cash bail, which is a discriminatory system that favors the wealthy.

Sorry I went on a rant.

I get super mad about all the "mistakes" cops make, that at the very least ruin, or even end permanently the lives of others. It's infuriating. They should never go on the word of only one informant, and JFC quit shooting people. It's almost always unnecessary. *sounds of exasperation* Breona Taylor was shot through a wall. They couldn't even see her. Louisville did ban no-knock warrants after that, but that was about the only change.

@fmhilton I never understand why Americans aren't more enraged by their police.

@fmhilton was the man black? edit: nevermind, he wasn't. Surely it could have been stopped with good ma....ohhh. Nevermind.

@fmhilton "Fatally shoot"?

You mean kill. They killed him.

@fmhilton Well, do you know how Americans are described abroad? "Shoot first, ask questions after" ...
