I'm thinking of moving some of my wordpress sites away from WordPress, due to these ongoing issues {men acting like babies) ... To Joomla
Anything I should be aware of ? ... Should I not? ... If you say Joomla is crap and offer no reason or another similar product, don't! {It's not helpful}

I like static site generators, personally. Nice and efficient, no security risk, you get complete control over the HTML they generate, and you can keep the site in version control (Git, etc).
I'm only familiar with the one I wrote myself in the 2000s, but Eleventy and Hugo seem to be what folks use these days.
Downside: this usually involves doing stuff on the command line. Not sure if there are any nice front ends with point-and-click deployment.

I like the static web site too, I have two that are that way
These other sites if I ever go live I want to be able to post blogs live and a couple of other things that I am sure I could do with a static site, but I'm not smart enough yet, and I am blond ...giggles
