I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as freenode, is in fact, Lee/freenode, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, leenode. leenode is not an IRC network, but rather a hollow shell of an IRC network being destroyed by Andrew Lee. Many IRC users connect to a ruined version of the freenode network every day, without realizing it.
I'm afraid its bad, as some will stay, others leave. I'm using quite a bit of matrix, but - though decentralized - for many it will not be the right alternative.
https://libera.chat/ has taken off. Since I wrote this toot, an additional 100 people joined. Yes. It was ~ 600, and now it's 711.
Wondering whether that "narcissistic Trumpian wannabe Korean royalty bitcoins millionaire" Andrew Lee :rotten:🖤
of the disintegrating
#freenode is at all related to one of the greatest martial arts heroes of all time, Bruce Lee 💜 ??
It's heeeeere! Manjaro is a new experience for me, and I haven't used KDE in a long time, so it'll be interesting. Going to give it a proper try-out before deciding if I'll nuke it for Debian or switch to Xfce/Openbox as per my usual habit
Got an ugly little gouge on the display hinge, which is sad, but not worth a return
@claudiom Thanks man, glad you liked it. :) I shifted gears at the very last minute and thankfully it worked out. Always great to hang with you. :)
@ParadeGrotesque Yeah. I'm a fan of "screw releases every * months", but instead "it will be released when it is ready". Win win for slack.
