I've fallen behind on my reading. I wanted to complete two books every month this year, but I'm averaging about one.
That's not too bad, now that I think about it.
@cev oddly I had the same goal and currently have the same progress! Hit a couple of books that really slowed me down but I didn't want to quit. Hopefully I'm getting back on track now.
@cev What do you like to read? Can you recommend a book for me? I just purchased this one. I'll report back after I read it.
@adamd I read mostly science fiction. '70s New Wave, Cyberpunk, and modern near-future stuff.
I recently completed Tim Maughan's "Infinite Detail", that was very good, and I'd recommend it. Although it seemed a little expensive for a (trade) paperback.
I saw you toot about that book, "Breaking And Entering". I'm curious how it turns out. Please let me know if it's any good.
Ive listened to a lot of books this past month, but my memory is getting so bad I barely remember some of them :/
@aladar I have that problem with podcasts, they go in one ear and come out the other.
I've been meaning to try an audiobook or two, though; seems like it'd be a good thing to listen to while working on music. Depends on the audiobook, I suppose.
