Well *that’s* an interesting discovery. Seems to be a development tool for the CD-i version of Myst. https://archive.org/details/myst-language-conversion-kit-mac-hfs

Haven't been shooting too much film lately and haven't used my Speed Graphic for a while. Time to change that. Loaded up a bunch of holders tonight so I don't have excuses not to go out and shoot tomorrow.
Got lots ready. 8 shots of Retropan 320 and 6 of HP5+ ready and waiting. (Ignore the old masking labels, I wish I had some Verichrome Pan to be playing with :P)

Do you ever think about what's the oldest system you could do much of your daily work on? If we ignore the bloated internet for a second, many programmers would be fine with an early 90s unix work station and feel right at home provided they have ssh or similar.

I can't move to the Fediverse properly until I reproduce my famous pinned post from the birdsite, so here it is:
P.S.A. To all vintage computer and video game collectors:
Go through your collections and GET THE DAMN BATTERIES OUT!
Now! Don't wait! Seriously, put down the phone, go to your collection and take out all the batteries. Right now! Even if they look "okay" they are NOT SAFE after this much time.
I'm out of town on an extended visit to my mother's so made the choice to only bring two cameras with me, a digital (the D90) and a film (my 4x5 Speed Graphic). Won't be able to share any of the film photos till I'm back home and can develop them.
Out shooting with a DSLR again, haven't used this one for a while. It's my Nikon D90 which has a bad screen (and replacing the screen didn't fix it). Since the camera has all the detail on the top LCD I can treat it much like a fancy film SLR and no chance to peek at them.
Downside is my camera collection is all over the place and I don't have much Nikon stuff, so just have the lens I got it with, which is a nice Nikkor 18-105 VR
Finally got around to putting my 20x30 Computer Protoboard source up onto Github if people are interested in them https://github.com/ChartreuseK/20x30-Protoboard
Pictures are the bare board, and an example of my 68010 computer (Vulpis2) that uses it.
I want to bring attention to #Calypsi which is a C and assembly compiler toolchain that supports #6502 #65816 and #68000 processors. https://www.calypsi.cc/
It runs on Mac/Win/Linux and has direct support for building programs for #C64 and #c256foenix machines with serial port debugging (maybe not working on C64, yet). It comes with excellent user manuals for each architecture, this is the 6502 manual: https://tinyurl.com/mw8rfzb5
If anyone missed it last night, I've launched a BBS (yes, an old-school BBS, text interface, you access it via telnet) to act as a chill social hangout for #trans folk.
Since it just went live, it's very small, but if we can grow it into a cozy little community, I think it could be pretty great.
If you're interested in the details, contact me directly.
Boosts are also appreciated!
Just another old computer loving fur. Homebrew computers, vintage computers, repair, and programming.
