I feel like you can get good coffee so many places in Portland, but this is the only shop I’ve been where they don’t just roast the beans—they grow the beans themselves, as well!

Love the Colombian food and LOVE the space. It is the prettiest coffee shop I’ve been in so far. Lots of big tables in an open space. Garage door that opens during spring.

It’s giving upgraded “Palio in Ladd’s” vibes.

IF these tarriffs persist, #coffee growers in #Hawaii might see a big boost to their business. Many growers in Hawaii sell directly from their own websites, which allows us to bypass resellers like Amazon. My personal Top Three Hawai’i coffees are from the 1) Ka’u, 2) Kona, and 3) Maui regions. There are great growers on Oahu and Kauai too, but my own taste gravitates towards the Big Island and Maui.

A fine new #OpenAccess paper by my colleagues at NCF #ncfindia jointly with #agroforestry owners/managers, highlighting the potential of shade #coffee agroforests as native plant and seed sources to support #EcologicalRestoration and diversifying native saplings for agroforests themselves. This also holds the potential for more ethical seed and seedling sourcing and reducing the native seed collection impacts/dependence on #forest remnants.
