As a 3D platformer on the Nintendo 64, Tonic Trouble is in a competitive market. Its uniqueness comes from its quirky sense of humor and wonderful cartoon-y aesthetic. Sadly, the puzzles are dry, and the pace heavily relies on encouraging the player to backtrack. A shame, as it's one of the few N64 titles to have a camera that doesn't make you want to pull hair. I'd recommend it if you're looking for something like Rayman 2, but otherwise, it's no hidden gem.
