Of all the current enhancements for Apple II, I wonder why I am not seeing anything in the realm of CPU accelerators.

Every time one of the old accelerators comes up on ebay, the prices quickly become steep. Woe be you if you have a IIc you want to accelerate.

The only accelerated Apple II I have outside an emulator is my LASER 128EX. It's a great machine in many ways. (Should really have supported hard drives on UDC, though...)

@yakkoj I suspect you'll find most CPU accelerators for the Apple IIgs.

@vertigo @yakkoj and the IIe. Not a ton of room to do one for the //C and not that big a market from what I've seen.

We have a similar drought in the C64 world.

@yakkoj There's always the IIc+, but I understand those are rare as hen's teeth. When I got mine, I had no idea they even existed before that.
