@claudiom it looks like on Kernel 5.8.16-200.fc32.x86_64 using the patches from the trusty

Vmware Workstation Pro 16.0.0 build-16894299 now works fine...

It means I can move to Fedora 33 Workstation and wait for Oracle Virtualbox to solve the similar issue it had on Kernel 5.8 ( unless its already been solved and I dont know about it)
