How every Linux user thinks

After many months I've *finally* got everything working just the way I like it 😊

*five minutes later*

I'm bored now. Ooh! That new distro looks interesting... maybe I should try it 🤔

*an hour later*

THIS IS AMAZING I HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO TWEAK NOW 🤩

@trechnex i am way too lazy for this, i just progressively tweak my setup in small ways and maybe install new software that needs configuring.

@trechnex I'll admit, I've fallen into that trap a few times. I have to keep reminding myself that just because I can do something, doesn't mean I need to.

@trechnex exactly... now i install mint, two days later a install debian....:linus:

@trechnex The rabbit hole

@trechnex that was me, literally a couple days ago.

I'm not even a legit Linux user *yet* and I feel like this lol. Only used Manjaro for a month but I love trying new things

How every Linux user thinks

@trechnex Thankfully after a few years I've settled down and focused on making things, instead of tweaking things :)

That sounds so much like me

@trechnex All I need, actually, is woobly windows on Qubes OS. But this would require root privileges on dom0, which isn't a good idea.

@arax I do miss Compiz and Emerald. That seemed to disappear for some reason years ago and I kind of miss it 😅
