lifehack: whenever public wifi asks you for your email, instead of giving it to them, do this ONE NEAT TRICK

look at the name of the company trying to collect it (it will never be the restaurant or cafe, always some soulless data brokering tech firm) and type in "sales" or "hello" @companyname.website

give them a taste of their own medicine!!

doing this + using a vpn will not only make your web traffic unsellable to them, but the unsellable noise you create will be attributed in their system....to themselves

@HYPERLINK brilliant. i hope i remember this so i can do it.. most places don't ask for one, but there is a mall that seems to want people to make a whole account to login to.

@lyliawisteria never fear! LIFEHACK is here!

getnada.com for instant disposable emails. generate a random password with your password manager of choice (@thubish recommended me keepass, it's open source). you can even check the nada email for a confirmation code if need be!

@trebach @lyliawisteria @thubish awesome!

although I will say nada has the "cars2.club" domain....which is pretty fucking spectacular
