An interesting piece about the events of May 4th 1970 and their effect on music:
@fuuko Old school Shin Megami Tensei and Dragon Quest are probably my favorites, but most of my playtime goes into Final Fantasy titles. I've been really into FFXIV the mmo for the past few years, which made me want to play through the older FFs again.
@satchmoz @lucidiot On2 Technologies, formerly "The Duck Corporation" which owned that domain - https://web.archive.org/web/20051207021821/http://duck.com:80/ - was acquired by Google in 2009: https://techcrunch.com/2009/08/05/google-acquires-video-compression-technology-company-on2-for-106-million/
@maiki this one was for ruby specifically. Ruby on Ubuntu was always kind of a kludge. This was easy to set up, - https://developer.fedoraproject.org/tech/languages/ruby/gems-installation.html - although I did have to add the redhat-rpm-config they mention on that page in addition to just the C Development Tools & Libraries in order to build native extensions for gems. Plus the desktop itself is more stable and newer. Overall I'm just very impressed so far

@maiki seems like an interesting idea, I'd want to try it. Could be a good alternative to Yammer and other proprietary products
