What do you peeps use for music on the go?
Boosts ok and wanted.

I just spent 2.5x the price of this LP on VAT & import fees for an Icelandic artist that records less than 1km away from my home. For some unknown reason the album shipped from God Knows Where without an invoice or customs form.

I'm reading Brave New World and honestly not caring for it at all.

You know when there's a new movie coming out and you really want it to be good? I call that your wish power, and in my head it's a finite resource.

Coming up are some really epic projects. Foundation. Rick Moranis coming out of retirement for a heart-wrenchingly personal Honey I Shrunk the Kids sequel. A Wheel of Time series.

But I'm refusing to spend any of my wish power on that stuff, no matter how cool it is. 100% is going to the new Dune. It better fucking rock.

Alright! My too ambitious community based collaborative science fiction space adventure podcast is about a half inch from the point where I can start bringing people in to help work on it.

We're still a few months from having anything listenable, but I spent a few hours today doing logistics and planning and writing.

I am so excited. (small thread)

I'm interested in the art scene. Any recomendations on which editors, resources, artist and online communities should I check?

Kinda digging n8n. It's nice having a self hosted zapier-like thing

I still can't figure out how to follow a user on a remote instance of pixelfed. I'm on SDF's instance and I'm trying to follow @mecinus 's pixelfed account, but when I copy & paste his full URL into SDF's search, it just says nothing found. Am I doing something wrong?

looking through the snapshots for time.gov and this is the first time that the layout was updated in its history

they made a slight tweak in the mid-2000s which shows the sunlight shadows but other than that, this is all the iterations i think

time.gov/ - NIST updated time.gov! That hasn't happened since.... ever?

I installed n8n.io (Free and Self-hostable Alternative for Zapier/tray.io) on my vps. It was quite annoying to get running, even with a docker image. Reverse proxying and getting some basic-auth on it took time. I built a little test workflow using NASA's image of the day and Dropbox and i'm satisfied. Maybe I'll come up with something useful to do soon.
