GOG is so much better at providing games on linux that work than Steam. Doesn't Steam have a whole linux based OS or something? How are they so bad at it?

@tomasino I haven't had much problems with linux games on steam and proton is pretty nice

@notptr @tomasino I've also been pleasantly surprised that Steam and Proton works reasonably well. But I also remember the dark ages of Linux gaming.

@dokuja @notptr I'm glad your experience has been good. I don't have a playstation or xbox controller, so proton always screws up my controller bindings, and the steam games only run half the time. GOG has a 100% awesome rating from me, though. :)

@tomasino It's been about even for me... what game refuses to work? I've had to go into the hidden /home/denny/.config/unity3d/ folders at time and make changes to the config files there to get things to work.

@capngloval one of the dungeon defenders games was the latest. I wouldn't even know where to start with config files for that sort of thing
