@cwebber Hello sir! Asking you because I'm pretty sure you'd know the answer.. So, I love XMPP. Is there a web service I can host like Rocket.chat or mattermost that does all the slacky things, but its underlying mechanisms are XMPP?

I'd just love all that functionality when at the pc (and history!) but just run a simple XMPP client when on my mobile device.

thanks for everyone who contributed to this moment of mirroring a 4MB flash volume over a 9600b serial cable to interlink running on dosbox

So, I made a thing ~a year ago that is kinda neat and wanted to share:

"JS-Space a tool/game that will generate a mostly-realistic galaxy from a seed, then let you navigate around it to view the various stars within the galaxy. It’s designed to work well on computers and mobile devices."

Random discovery: Seedship. Brilliant free indie game made with #twine. Play an AI that picks the planet for a human colony. Lots of random events & meaningful choices, but each play takes only about 5 mins. Replay value about 15-30 plays.

@brion Welcome! Come and revel in the larger max character space. Oh, yes and the nice people here. :D

This is an awesome reference for design; which I know sounds weird but it's actually pretty cool.

I've been starting to do the Fit Plus almost day.2 yogas, 1 strength and 1 cardio (normally a run). I love it.

Also, living in PNW, seeing that sunny blue sky on the island run really helps with my mood. Yay virtual environments!

FTW you realize player in can handle psf music files, and now you can listen to your 700mb of Playstation 1 & 2 soundtracks.

It's a good morning.

@maiki Hey man, you know more about the than I do I haven't connected it to internet or updated it, ever. If I did, would it upgrade it to a slow, unusuable version?

Is it still considered a piece of if it's greater than 1/4 of pie?

I mean, it's less than 1/3; I'm not a monster.

@maiki you asked about linux pain points a while ago.. My biggest currently is PDFs. OSX'es 'preview' app that lets you add signatures, type text into any PDF is really nice.

Any suggestions for one to use in Lubuntu?
