Fact check: I looked at all loudr tweets back to end of 2015, and there is no mention of losing rights, or download your stuff quickly, or anything. https://twitter.com/loudr . Their knowledge base just says they are going down soon, does not say music is gone. https://loudr.groovehq.com/knowledge_base/topics/how-do-i-download-the-music-i-bought-on-loudr-to-my-iphone-slash-ipad The last email I received from Loudr was from January 2015, regarding site term changes.
So, lies everywhere. I explained all this and asked for a refund.
One of the many reasons why I dislike spotify.
Also, dissapointed in how Loudr handled the sale. I had 163 albums on there I can't access now.
I am starting to be convinced that the emotional response to nostalgia drops some of the craziest chemicals into the bloodstream.
I can't explain why precisely, but it's starting to really annoy me.
Maybe because it's really easy to escape the current realities into shows and subjects that you loved as a kid. But we can't always be looking backward.
Reboots, superhero movies, shows set during my childhood period, I think I'm going to let it go.
Let's focus on the present!
Is anyone using #elementaryos as a dev OS? Does it handle stuff like vagrant, docker, sublime text, etc ok?
I was reading the docs and it wasn't super obvious to me if it's debian based (aka apt-get all the things) or something unique.
Oh my gosh they released Scrolls, you can now host your own server?! I loved this game! :) https://callersbane.com/2018/06/the-game-is-now-free/index.html

Ok, I'm just quitting Twitter. I can't do it anymore.
What I want is a simple web app where, upon hitting a shortcut on my phone would take me to a simple textarea, where i can write my twitter like update. And it flows to here and to my blog as a status update blog post type.
I might just need to make it.
@maiki you see this?
Makes gitlab look even better. :D
I really dislike how #firefox shows tons of cert information at the expense of the actual web address.
Like, I can't even click in here to type a new URL. I have to just close the tab. This strongly bugs me!
Just had a realization re: #gamedev. Especially as I get older w/a wonderful family, I have less time for games. Getting on and playing at same time with friends is near impossible.
BUT! (and MMOs have this) the ability to multiplay async is possible. Crafting and sending items to help your friends, etc. (Note: I am not talking about turns sitting in a notification somewhere.)
Designing a game with lots of ways players can async play together is a critical element.
I'm sure everyone knows about them already, but I didn't! So I'm sharing. https://www.stickermule.com/ Pretty inexpensive custom stickers!!
