This month's Trunk & Tidbits Mastodon blog post is packed with updates, including on the work-in-progress Fediscovery project.
"Testing of an initial Fediscovery implementation is ongoing."
Very excited about this!

Another big highlight: support for age verification.
"It achieves this by asking for the user birth date when signing up and checking it against the configured age. The birth date is not stored anywhere."
Love the transparency here, and focus on privacy.
@stefan But if the purpose is to comply with laws, will taking the user's word for it suffice? Generally proof-of-age requires identification.
@michaelgraaf Good question!
I know there was a conversation about this on the Mastodon Discord at one point, but I haven't really fully followed it, to be honest.
My guess is that this will be enough at least for some countries/scenarios?
(Other social networks/online services I can remember off the top of my head also only ask for a date, for example.)
