@starbreaker about 80% of all gaming that happens, happens on a unix-like environment. iOS and Android alone are a huge chunk of video game activity, PS4 and Nintendo Switch's operating environments are both BSD derived. Even macOS and Linux desktops contribute. Windows-based systems are actually the underdog.

*nix took over the gaming world ages ago, Windows users just haven't figured it out yet. The idea that Windows is the go-to for gaming is a myth and the conversations around Linux gaming are red herrings.

@starbreaker The Nintendo Switch uses code from FreeBSD's kernel, too, or at least from parts of it.
