Ken Thompson created in #1969.

Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward, and Ozzy Osbourne began performing as in #1969?

Coincidence? Probably not, but I like the notion that and are roughly equal in age.

@starbreaker I think you meant that it probably is a coincidence. Also +1 for lewd year.

@starbreaker Also the documentary about Unix's creation clearly needs a Black Sabbath soundtrack throughout. Also, all the FX need to resemble the Iron Man video:

@starbreaker - Interesting theory! - But for me bands like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath were more like hard rockers... I still like both of them. Heavy Metal is faster and more aggressive for me...

@alexandra That's a fair point, but I think most of them will claim Sabbath as an influence.

@starbreaker Yes, it is. - Sabbath is the father of Heavy Metal. Not least because of their black and occult image and the craziness of Ozzy Osbourne. I really like the second album.

@alexandra What bands are you into lately? I'm always looking for something new.

@starbreaker - The time when I heard a lot of hard rock is actually over... At the moment I'm listening to a style similar to this piece here:

In my profile I occasionally use the hashtag #musicsuggestion when I have found something I like... (is it possible to select a hashtag within a profile in Mastodon?)
