I quite enjoy most of the Mastodon polls I see. But they do often remind me of this wonderful 'sampling bias' sketch.

@shivers I always wonder about US political polls... The kind of people who approve of Trump are frequently also the same people who want to tell random strangers how they're supposed to feel.

Does that mean polls are biased towards controlling individuals, or is half our nation really that blind to obvious facts?
