I never thought I'd trust food from a state where the residents are too damn stupid to pump their own gas without blowing themselves up, but here I am eating a pizza in New Jersey. I hope I survive.

We'll make great pets. We'll make great pets. We'll make great pets. And so on.

I'm not colorblind, but I run the iOS tritanopia filter full-time on my devices. It makes the colors look more vivid and closer to the displays Samsung uses in its devices. I've got it mapped to the home button, so three clicks will turn it on or off if I'm doing photo work. Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations > Color Filters > Blue/Yellow Filter.

I got some spam yesterday promoting Donald Trump commemorative coins. Just for shits and giggles I ordered three, at US$1 apiece on eBay. Of course, they're coming from China, which is awesome. I'm expecting them to be about 3 feet in diameter with his autograph on each one in letters 6" tall. Made from the finest metals anywhere. The best. Should make some good gag gifts around Christmastime, if we haven't been nuked off the face of the earth by then.

An ordinary trip to the grocery store became the opportunity of a lifetime today when we got to see the Queen of New England in the Stop & Shop parking lot. (Falmouth, MA)

Anyone know what (other than just "Comcast") would cause a Comcast residential modem/router combo to rapidly bounce between two very different public IP's? Every 20-30 seconds it terminates any active data transfer and changes to the other IP. If I connect to the "xfinitywifi" AP and log in, it's stable. Never seen this before.

I'm getting more disgusted with Apple every day. Every so often an iOS update comes along and I end up with random duplication of about 75% of my iTunes library. That's a pain in the ass to fix even on my MacBook with iTunes. Good luck cleaning that up on an iPad alone. Apple acts like they want us to fully immerse ourselves in the iPhone/iPad ecosystem, and then gives us almost none of the tools to make that practical. Why does iOS still not have proper music library management tools?

I think I'll take Jekyll for a spin. I've messed with it once before but it's been so long I have no idea what I'm doing. This will be a fun project!

I've never cared too much for raisins.

Heya all! Apparently the vice president of design at Dropbox made something pretty neat, actually. I saw it mentioned on freshnews. Anyways, it's called and the entirety of the site is stored in the URL once you make one.

Selfie with my partner Graham, overlooking the James River from Libbie Hill Park in Richmond, VA. Gorgeous day!

After all these years I finally got an invoice from Amazon for S3 services. I owe them two cents. I'd love to know how much AMEX is going to charge them to process that.
