Back to thinking about re-designing my "publishings".
Is the potential mass audience of instagram (/flickr/pixelfed/etc) worth the attention, or are enough people interested in more "artisan" approaches, eg small-scale newsletters (/snail mail/etc)?
Maybe I should just stop worrying and do whatever's intersting. Yeah, probably that.
Some good things today:
- Tried out Hugo and Netlify for the first time
- Egg mayo sandwich and coffee
- Spent time looking at the week ahead
- #son1 pleased about getting to do sound effects for the school play
- First ice on the pond
- Wearing a scarf indoors
Trying out 'Grow Home' from Ubisoft with #son2, less than 2 quid in the Steam sale currently. Nice, calm blend of Roblox-style polygons, Zelda-style climbing, and A Short Hike style island exploration so far.
Missed a month, but Beamspun is back. Some quick links on trees, nature, art and tech for your full moon weekend:
Merry lunar eclipse all... The next edition of Beamspun comes out shortly, covering art, tech, seedheads and the re-dreaming of society.
Links for future editions welcomed.
Converted https://groundlake.org/ to sans-serif today. Took hours to take the serifs off each letter in turn, but probably worth it in the end.
