I grew up reading books, and books allowed me access to imagined and faraway lands, and all the ideas that came with them. Meeting writers from faraway lands brings it all back home again.

Spent the evening among writers and scribes and now I am in awe of language and culture.

And even then, I'm not even sure I have what I want. 🙃

Getting somewhere with this photo projects. 2 years of photos, taken months to sort through and whittle down. Now forcing myself to curate even harder, get some structure and narrative, and let go of a LOT.

Trying out staying away from work BEFORE being obviously ill. Feels like that's a more efficient way of doing things - isolate the infectious early on. Wonder if any companies have a policy of 'early' sick days.

Does anyone have a link to a matrix/summary of ostatus/activitypub compatibility for Pleroma/Mastodon/GS and their versions/plugins? I feel like I desperately need a grid.

Inventaire.io looks nice but is a bit unpolished in places. LibraryThing is complete, but overwhelming. BookMooch looks intriguing. BookCrossing is classic.

How to use all of them, without going mad?

Grey skies continuing on the radar - might start cutting back network and Bluetooth usage to try to ride it out a bit. life.

Should I...

@vicorva Sorry, just voted in a really old poll as I was going through emails :) Ignore me, and thanks for posting the ebooks!

Suddenly it's hail season. Each cold particle crunching under my foot reminds me of stratospheric Arctic switches, polar winds. Probably birds floating back up there.
