@salixlucida I generally nod in agreement with most #C4SS stuff, but I'm not sure about this one. Both the format and the rhetoric reminds me of the sort of stuff I used to read in Marxist magazines back in the 90s. Comparing Sanders to a hypothetical ideal - and caricaturing his positions and severely overstating his political flaws in the process - isn't as useful as comparing his policies and voting record to the candidates he's actually running against.
