@s173nc3r Oldest fallacy in the book: correlation doesn't prove causation. You can just as easily argue that natural immunity has been acquired by most people since 2019, and thus this wave is much more tame. Exactly the same as happens with influenza mutations.

@s173nc3r (With influenza it being a "new" virus, similar to how SARS-CoV-2 was a new one. Variants of SARS-CoV-2 are still the same though, because coronaviruses cannot mutate the spike protein, but Influenza can.)

The observed effect is that people who have been vaccinated are not showing up in the hospitals or the morgues ; those who didn't, are. It's really difficult to find more than one way to take that.
