My test system is a Compaq 486, and a Gateway PII-450, both running MS-DOS 6.22.
I know it doesn't quite behave right in DOSBox-X - seems that the ScreenRows() function in DJGPP's libc doesn't return the correct value or something there.
If anyone is interested, I've forked JASSPA's MicroEmacs 09, and made it run in MS-DOS properly again.
First release build is up: https://github.com/robdaemon/microemacs/releases/tag/20210705
My primary use-case right now is MS-DOS, but I may make other fixes there too. I accept issues and pull requests too!

@cstanhope Yeah, most of my trees did okay. My two apple trees have a small amount of brown around the edges, but my ferns are very scorched. 🥴
@trurl That option was removed for many users today.
They later claimed it was a bug and restored the original behavior.
When you write hashtags, remember to use CamelCase (where each word has a capital letter).
This makes it much easier for blind and partially-sighted people's screen reader apps to read the hashtag out loud, and makes your message much more accessible.
