It's claimed that autistic people lack empathy.

I don't see many autistic cops.

To bludgeon someone unconscious with a truncheon, gas him, zap him, shoot him & watch his lifeblood drain from him, because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, or looked suspicious, or expressed the wrong opinion ― that, apparently, is the act of a “normally empathetic” person. The very idea makes me want to vomit.

Oh well.

The average ASD person would very likely struggle to grasp the paradoxical nature of law enforcement that is supposed to protect but actually oppresses.

Weirdly enough, the average so-called neurotypical has less of a problem with that cognitive dissonance 🤔
