at some point, system administration seems to tend to devolve to just finding which tmux tab has the commands i want to run in the history and up-arrowing to them, maybe changing a value
@pony I,too, like to spend 5 minutes looking for a command in history rather than just writing it again
@pony yeah it doesn't work very well with multiple bash sessions overwriting the same history file

@piggo @pony You can configure the shell, even bash, to write history immediately after every command and not overwrite history with the other tab. linuxhint.com/bash_command_his
