How do human beings secretly discover another human beings ring's size with a high degree of accuracy? This is a pressing problem for me.

The human in question does not have rings which can be examined either.

@satchmoz Hmmm, is this an engagement scenario? I always thought, when watching engagement rings being offered, "I'd always err on the larger side, because they can just wear it on a necklace until you get it adjusted, *and* then you know **exactly** which size their finger is!" #lifehack =P

@maiki that was roughly the plan until I found out rings with meteorite in them are a thing and the metals they are made of are harder to get adjusted... but I totally want starmetal on my man's finger.
