Trying to run #Gajim via the new #Flatpak support: https://dev.gajim.org/gajim/gajim/tree/master/flatpak
Unfortunately, it requires pulling down ~216MB for a base #GNOME image... but I am kinda okay with that. I mean, I hope it gets better, and I don't think I'd do this for a different project, but this is my #jabber client, ya know?
@maiki I've got a "todo" item to look at why newer versions of Gajim aren't available on NetBSD / and or look at packaging Dino.
And your last toot had me thinking "man linux users with their new fangled flatpack stuffs have it easy".
Welp that was a bust. I can't get some version of OSTree installed to configure flatpak-builder, which is required to compile the package for Gajim...
I'll try to figure out how my OS package broke, instead... T_T
