TFW you consider inhabitants of roguelikes couldn't determine they were in a #roguelike... how were your starting conditions? You hit that career goal yet? Found any random tombstones with your initials?
@satchmoz I wanna to stop thinking about the underlying nature of reality every time I think about magic. Also, I'd like to design my own tombstone. ^_^
@maiki You can tell when you're not in a #roguelike because most of the bugs you observe cannot be caused by carelessness with pointers, bad assumptions about integer widths, or use of nonportable curses features.
@maiki I wanna see a roguelike now where the dungeon is themed like the real world. But you still randomly kill monsters; there are just more civilians and you might stumble across your own tombstone in the living room.
