So, like, #FLAC and #Ogg #Vorbis... we good? Have we improved on these free technologies, or is there a new #audio hotness I should be aware of? ^_^

@maiki see xiph's .opus container or codec (I confuse them). It's what all non music oriented podcasts should be using.

@maiki Have you heard of #CELT? I think it combines #Vorbis with another codec. There's also #Speex, which is supposedly specifically tuned for human speech.

@lnxw48a1 I was actually thinking about music, so I am less interested in voice stuff, specifically. I mean, always neat! But I am trying to figure out which digital audio player to get, so I've got tunes on the go, and glancing at codec support lists... ^_^
