@cwebber @eloquence One of my main critiques and part of the down fall of statusnet/pumpio was community ownership. I like the coop model.

@greg_grossmeier I hear that. I didn't join because I didn't know if I wanted to host my own, but then I figured out #SDF runs one, and I've been a member of SDF for over half my life, so it made sense. ^_^

@maiki Yeah, social.coop seems like a good direction for me, I wonder if there's other coops in the fediverse? I like that you joined sdf!
