@cwebber @eloquence One of my main critiques and part of the down fall of statusnet/pumpio was community ownership. I like the coop model.
@greg_grossmeier I hear that. I didn't join because I didn't know if I wanted to host my own, but then I figured out #SDF runs one, and I've been a member of SDF for over half my life, so it made sense. ^_^
@greg_grossmeier all of my sites would be run by a coop if someone wants to fund raise and do all the paperwork for me.
I am waiting for my site to reach the critical mass where someone participating is like, hey, let's do that fund raising and paperwork!
