Happy New Year, SDF.
During 2018 I was blessed to meet many interesting, creative, talented, and kind people through SDF, both virtually and in person. My life is richer because of this great community!
Here's looking forward to 2019, in terms of new friendships and in terms of some great new technologies in store for the SDF environment!

New post: dogpiling https://mayvaneday.keybase.pub/archive/blog/2018/december/dogpiling.html thinking about Nutt Godd's demise and return and how I seem to not have learned from what happened in October
New post: "we're all connected," said lain, with wires dripping down her body https://mayvaneday.keybase.pub/archive/blog/2018/december/we-are-all-connected.html
@lucina Thought on what you actually wrote : With HTML, I took a “bottom-up” approach, starting with the W3C specifications documents. With CSS, I tried to do that, but also wound up referring to examples culled from various pages where I tried to figure out how they were getting those effects. That was more than a decade ago, now, when most sites (aside from the 100% Flash ones) had much less in the way of insane script bloat & so on than now. But the specs could still be better-written.

Very depressing piece on the state of web browsers and we have a clear winner that takes all which is Chrome/Chromium. This is a scary present and future which Google will determine the direction of the web. http://bit.ly/2QgYZGP
