@art I gave that a go but I couldn't get it working with minimal effort in less than 2 minutes under Linux Subsystem for Windows/OpenSUSE while flipping pancakes and painting a self portrait and deleting random files off my filesystem like it's russian roulette. I was wondering if there was something better before I gave it another real proper go.

@dbucklin I'm gonna give it a proper go tomorrow. I see potential battery savings on my laptop especially which is why I'm interested in a CLI version and tried it under Linux Subsystem (which is slow as heck as well 😞)

How in the world do you do mastodon without images? How will you see pictures of other people's cats?

@rdh @dbucklin I haven't actually seen many pictures tbf. And all the pictures I have seen have been hentai and cats or that weird tree diagram bot. I don't think I'll miss much!
