@phoebos cpu(1) is the old-style plan 9 program to open a terminal on a remote system. 9front uses rcpu(1) instead.
the DES keys used by p9sk1 are easily bruteforced. dp9ik is SPAKE2-based with modern ciphers. rcpu(1) was introduced as part of the switchover to the new protocol back in 2016.
if you want to connect to a Labs Plan 9 or 9legacy system from 9front, you'll need cpu(1), but none of us do that and anyone who does can bring the source and build it.
