On Saturdays in the summer we walk down to the little farmers market in town to get coffee and a few veggies. Now that it's closed for the year the coffee vendor has moved into a new location at the local "used to be a Perkins but is now a microbrewery." Very kid friendly, and only the smallest hint of hipster.

Coffee is good, if you're ever in the outer edge of the South West suburbs of Minneapolis.

Wife came home from the store with new vitamins.

Wife: Try these elderberry vitamins, they don't taste that bad.

Me sniffs the container

Me: Ugh, they smell like your father.

Got busy with the new job and other stuff so books kinda sat for a while. All my queues dried up so now I have to wait again. Guess I'm now on a Heinlein/Grafton sprint since they have a collection of both at the local library and no one else is checking them out.

It's finally time! the 0xC.pad is available *now* from me (assembled) & four other vendors (as a DIY kit)!✨

It's a 12-key macropad with hexagonal keycaps that I designed as well. It runs on an integrated ATMega32U2 microcontroller and QMK out of the box.

This is the very first time I'm selling something I built with my own hands, so I'm super excited (and a bit nervous)! I'd really appreciate a retoot for this one ❤️

For the record, I didn't set my hand on fire. The cup set on fire and I threw it into the burn pit.

Anyone else disappointed that in this universe James Halliday is played by Mark Zuckerberg?

Everyone in my class in middle school was into the Anne McCaffrey dragon books. I, on the other hand, was into Bradbury and Asimov. So I probably should see what all the fuss was about.

Always interesting to read lesser known works of authors with one or two very popular stories. I'm definitely hooked and going to read a lot more Heinlein.

Daughter: This episode of Charlie is titled: Creek!

Once completed i think i might get Apple TV just to see the Foundation tv show. I doubt they will have the ability to make it anywhere close to the books but maybe.

Really liked the book, think it's Hank's first. As with his work on promoting science he does a great job of introducing scientific topics with just enough info to move forward. Excited to read the sequel.
