## Morning Mastodonians!
We played an hour or so of Rainbow Six: Siege. It went pretty well, until it didn't. First I got a BSOD and then M got kicked out of the session. We didn't actually play that well either, probably just a little rusty. Yeah, that' sit. But C is back in town and we might be able to finish off Halo 3: ODST next week. Then on to Zombie War 4, I hope! We can go back to Halo 4 in the future. I'm kind of Halo'd out.
Things are still pretty crazy around here. A left her animals behind when she went back to school for the last few weeks of the semester, so we added a dog (who is only somewhat house trained) and 2 more cats. Just when I think things are beginning to calm down before the Christmas storm, it gets crazier instead. Well, if it at least gives her a few less things to worry about as the end of semester approaches, it will be worth it.
It is a particularly dark and dreary time in the salt mine as we prepare for another 2 week sprint. It always just feels like shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic as we approach a new sprint. Much noise, signifying virtually nothing. I do have some coding I need to do, so it will help. Heads down, music playing and coding happening is the way I like my days.
Stay safe. GET VACCINATED! GET BOOSTED! Wash your hands. Wear a mask. Watch your distance.
Many people take no care of their money till they come nearly to the end of it, and others do just the same with their time. - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
