## Morning Mastodonians!
Another pretty good morning at hockey. Only 3 pucks got behind me and there wasn't much I could do on any of them. One was a tip in front that went 5 hole, another was off the stick of my defense and over my shoulder and the third was a breakaway I made the first stop on but he jammed home the rebound. It was a late tying goal, but we got the winner a few minutes later, so it all ended well.
I have next week off but it promises to be a very busy one, getting ready for our first real group of visitors in several years. And the first public exposure for the new kitchen. It isn't 100% done, but pretty close. We want to close off the tops of the cabinets, because you can see them from the top of the stairs, but that's really about it. Still plenty to do before visitors though!
One last dark day in the salt mine, then I'll be free! Should be a quiet one, as many are traveling to NYC for a meeting with the top man. I should have probably done it, but I just couldn't face 4 hours of travel each way, just for dinner. And I have a few loose ends to tie up before I disappear.

I didn't even have to stay up late to watch the ending of the Patriots game even. They were winning 16-0 late in the game, so I turned it off and went to bed. They ended up winning 25-0 in what some were calling the longest last 2 minutes of a football game ever. It was a sloppy win, especially on offense, but they did what they had to do and now they are looking good, playoff-wise.
