How about you?

@christa okay technically it has happened to me 4 times in 104 games. So basically never.

Hi fediverse! Boosts appreciated on this one.

I’m part of a co-op building a platform for artists to sell art without getting exploited. I’ve been working on it for a while but there’s a lot of work to do and I could use some help. A ton of the main features are in place, but there’s still some big gaps and a lot of polish left before it can launch.

The platform is fully open source and developed in the open. It’s built on Phoenix/Elixir and Tailwindcss. Our co-op is already incorporated and established and it’s open to members that want to actually commit but you don’t need to be a member to contribute or help.

Does this sound interesting? I’d love some help! I’m also happy to answer questions. And no, you don’t need to know Elixir already. It’s pretty easy to learn for the things you’d be using it for. Even some design help would be welcome. Feel free to reply here or DM me!

tfw you realize that the FBI field office is two miles from campus where you work

@rra bureaucracy does this too, but AI is usually owned and/or operated by a company more centralized and at larger scales

4/4 We're good at technology, but not good on safety for vulnerable. Few people are more vulnerable than those using 988. Everyone knows 911 if they want to be located. 988 has opportunity to be a respectful service, but now appears to be more about surveillance and control.

3/4 To my point, the forum headings of "Challenges Without Geolocation", plus including panelists from 911, then on to technical issues. My question: Where is the panel for "Who will be hurt by Geo-location and Do We Even Need It; Hint: Answer Is No We Don't"

2/4 I've come to realize the answer as no, or yes w/ VERY strict limits. This gets into safety & sending police or others without consent. We already have 911 & that is understood to include geolocation. I fear 988 is a classic surveillance grab.Classic means under guise of "good".

1/4 RE: USA National 988 number service for crisis/suicide hotline. Geo-Location.

Rob Wipond (@RobWipond twitter) shared about tomorrow's FCC forum 5/24. Link for public to attend at link below.

I try to be measured because I know I lack knowledge, but tomorrow's FCC forum keeps bothering me. I read the outline at link. If interested, READ the session headings. Geo-location is pre-supposed and that's wrong. The first question should be "Does 988 require geolocation?"

How dare wordle not consider floof a word.

@publius thanks. I def use a colander. I just thought I could get resaeay with this fancy pit lid with a drainage hole tonight. Live and learn . I was more surprised at how heartbroken I got for the fresh pasta loss!

@tms I refused for the dry angel hair batch what water did not go down the drain, but are you saying save the water for sauce? I had a sauce I'd bought from the Italian shop already...tell me what to save the water for!

The heartbreak of that fresh pasta you were saving that slides into the drain as you try to drain the water out right as it is ready to eat...
